About the Fund

Investment Aim

The Fund seeks to maximise total return through income and capital appreciation by investing at all times at least 70% of its Total Asset Value in euro denominated debt securities across the major fixed-income sectors that are listed or traded in developed and emerging market countries.

About the Investment Strategy

  • The Fund is invested across all major fixed income sectors with a bias towards higher quality European fixed income sectors, for example, mainly government securities, investment grade corporates and other sectors such as mortgage-backed bonds.
  • The Fund aims to maintain an average credit quality of AA.
  • Although the Fund can invest in securities issued in non-euro currencies, for example, US dollars, these securities would normally be hedged back to the euro.
    • Up to 10% of the Fund can be exposed to non-euro currencies.
