About the Fund

Investment Aim

To maximise total return, consistent with capital preservation, by investing primarily in inflation index debt securities denominated in sterling and issued or guaranteed by national governments, their agencies, instrumentalities and political sub-divisions based or operating predominantly in the UK. The Fund may also invest in other types of freely transferable debt securities denominated in sterling that are not indexed to inflation.

Performance Benchmark

FTSE-A Index-Linked Gilts Over 5 Years Index

Invests primarily in inflation index debt securities denominated in sterling.
Credit quality: The Investment Manager will only purchase investments that are rated at least investment grade by a nationally recognised statistical rating organisation (NRSRO).

About the Investment Strategy

Construct a well diversified, higher yielding, inflation-protected portfolio with a bias towards inflation-linked securities.
Value is added through sector rotation.
The portfolio will invest opportunistically in non-sterling bonds.
